How do I get the paint off my truck?

I have a 1987 dodge truck that I paid 400 bucks for in great mecanical condition but its UGLY. The previous owen was trying to spray paint it but looks like they ran out of spray paint.. I want to strip all the paint off the vehicle can any1 tell me the easiest method for doing so? Also what is a good prymer to use to get it ready for a new paint job?
 
About 45 minutes ago I decided to use the industrial high temp pressure washer at my work to wash my truck. The first blast took off a large portion of the paint from my front fender. This was not what I was trying to do, but it might help you out. And when you find a good primer let me know cuz i'm gonna need it now.
