How do I get the html code?

How do I get the html code of a video I have already FTP'd to my hosting service so I can embed the video onto my blog.
Let me spell out this question.

I have uploaded a video to my web hosting server account via FTP.

Now, I want to place this video on my blog.

I am in the C-Panel of my hosting account.

I go to "File Manager"

I select the domain of the site I want to place the video onto.

I see the video file in the sub-folder.

Now, what do I do next to get the HTML code of that video so I can put it on my blog?
