How do I get the front monitor to stay on while in drive on my 2008 Chrysler Mini Van?

I have a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Minivan that I would like to be able use the front video monitor for the passenger (I understand it is dangerous for the driver to watch) but once I put in gear the video monitor turns off. I was told that there was a way to "program" the computer to over ride this feature. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you in advance!
