How do I get the door lock assembly off my Samsung washing machine?

I have a Samsung Model #WF218ANB/XAA Washing machine and I need to know how to get the door lock assembly off. The door lock part # is Samsung DC64-00519B.

The reason I need to take this part off is because the door will no longer close and I'm getting an error on the display.

Funny, I have the same model and same problem occurred two days ago. I just fixed it today. All you need is a small hook type tool. I used a small right angle pick awl tool. I stuck it in on the side of and hooked it behind the latch and pulled it straight out to unlatch it. I took all about 5 seconds. Work fine again. Hope this helps...
