How do I get rid of 'Pink Rot' on a palm when found? I'm looking for solutions to help customers & friends.?
Pink Rot is a mildew that has very small spores that usually starts to resides in the crownshaft of palm tree. It can become airborne if it gets out of control or becomes agitated when the crownshaft is pealed away from the trunk of the palm. This can happen either by inspecting for Pink Rot incorrectly or removing an old frawn that unknowingly has the mildew.
I am looking for a remedy so I can pass this information along. If you can assist I will be grateful.
