How do i get rid of parasites without using medicines?

i have a peacock eel in my tank and supposedly there really sensative too medicines so i do not want to add something that might harm them. the parasites are affecting my tetras and guaramis and i was wondering if there was any way to eliminate the parasite....water change?....dip each individual fish in salt water for five seconds?....would any of these work or is there an easier way to get rid of parasites.
