i have a 15 gallon with fishes that are the last of their shoals... which means i had fishes and eg. and neon tetra with its shoal but if its family die and hes the last of survival i will put it in the 2ft tank... now i realise its not meaningful to keep fishes of different kind of last shoals to stay together... i dont have much space and because of that i cant get more fishes of their kind to shoal together... so i am planning on getting rid of them... they had been staying with me for about 10 months and i have feelings for them already... but they must go because my house is beginning to look like a fish tank house... so how do you think i can get rid of it? in my 15 gallon tank i have...
1 black neon tetra
1 cardinal tetra
1 male guppy
2 female guppy frys (6 weeks old)
13 cherry shrimps
1 cory...
these were all survivals of their family when they all died... and i really dont want such a tank to be wierd with different kind of fishes that were sppose to shoal together in their shoal but is not... so how do you think i can get rid of the fishes? definitely not giving to friends as who would ever want such an incomplete tank with different fishes? so i think maybe i might want to give it to a local fish store and ask them to feed it to the bigger fishes... do you think the fish shop will let me donate my fishes to them? and please advice me on this because i already have 2 tanks and cant afford to make my house a fish tank house so i will need to rid of the fishes first... do you think the fish shop owner will accept it as a donation?
