I posted a question on where to get it a day ago to see what you would say.It was in the garage when I bought the house.I have had it for about ten years.I know it is really bad stuff.I called the EPA and they want to charge me a large amount of money that I don't have to take it.I know you can't just dump it.I am afraid that something will happen to the container and it will spill into the ground and we all have shallow wells here.So I am sure someone knows what to do.

Contact Bethlehem. They can give you the best advice. It is probably going to cost you several hundred dollars to get rid of it. Also call the safety department of your local university. Find out who their waste disposal company is and call them. Since they visit locally, they may have a cheaper deal. I would go buy some very good 5 gallon buckets and set this mercury inside with the lid on. That will protect it for now. Do NOT give it to anyone. That is a very very high liability act.
