The skin on my face is always dry, not matter how much I moisturize. I usually use hydrocortozone cream and to make it look like I don't have dry skin (it usually works), but then when I rub my nose (my skin is dryest there), the skin starts to...ew...flake and appears to be dry again. This happens year round, not just in the winter.

I'm planning to start wearing foundations and other things but I can't when I have extremely dry skin. How do I get rid of this annoying dryness?

try to exfoliate with oatmeal.. really.
once your skin is used to it, try baking soda.. really.
you want to get rid of the dead skin, and then moisturize.

First of all drink more water. You need to hydrate from within. Then for moisturizer, try Cetaphil. I have sensative and dry skin and this works great!

I would talk to a Doctor and find out what to do, and what lotion to put on. I would choose the Yes to Carrots! lotion, it says it is for very dry skin, but your Doctor might have a better lotion for extremely dry skin.

Just put on lotion, body lotion face lotion whatever...
oh and u could try using daily face scrub tends to moisturize your skin

Just get a wet face cloth and hold it over the dry skin.

It's because the skin on your nose only gets moisture for short amounts of time that it becomes dry.

Rub vaseline all over then take a hot shower. It sounds gross but my husband swears it works.

ok, you need to drink more water. use a facial scrub/cleanser every day, and if u wear alot of makeup- give ur skin a break by either not using as much, or none at all for a while.
try a mask specifically targeted at dry skin, and if ur out in the sun/snow, wear sunscreen as well as ur daily moisturizer.
also, u could try rubbing some good olive oil into ur skin. thats helped alot of my friends actually. i use it on my hair as a mask...
and oranges, tomatoes and beetroot is good for ur skin, so put more of tha in ur diet :)

You could buy really good moisturiser for your skin and wash it in good bubble bath or something.. or simple cover it up so noone can see it haha lol ;)

lotion and oil lotion and oil until the cows return home.
then after keep it up for life,
cheers
