My bike's a little older, if that matters. Today I had those "salmon colored brakes" put on, which are supposed to be pretty good, and I read somewhere that they don't squeak...? But mine do. Is it okay to do things, as I've seen recommended, like sandpaper them or put acetone on them to remove the layer of ''shininess?'' Thanks!!
