how do i get rid of big pimples under my skin?!?!?!?!?!

i get these REALLY big, iratated, red pimples under my skin and they really hurt. i really want to pop them but i am afriad they will look even worse... nothing is really working and i already have a dermatologist but every time i go see her i do not have one of these annoying pimples to show her so she cant really help and all she suggests is that i get a $30 steriod injection, but that is just way to much money... so any suggestion???
 
Have you used any product with Benzoyl Peroxide or Sulphur? They help. A dairy free diet would help minimize pimples under the skin.

You can use cold compress to help reducing the swelling.
 
Get the Cetaphil Acne Principles kit. It sells at Shoppers Drug Mart ( not sure if you're in Canada, but check at your local pharmacy) but here in Canada it runs for about 60$.. the gel is amazing I swear by it, it cleared up my small bumps under the skin on my forehead!
