You've got to kill the Queen. Make this concoction, and keep it out for a while, but keep it away from children and pets: 3 ounces Jam, 1 1/2 tablespoons wet canned cat food and 1 tablespoon boric acid. The ants will eat it and bring it back to the nest, but they will all die from heartburn.
