How do I get rid of a ducati monster air box?

I've heard of people doing, what would I put in place of it?....please give my a web site too if I need any parts, thanks!..
 
you don't get rid of the airbox
you modify it
you have to keep the structure otherwise the fuel air mix is just so off. t
mods include more holes in the top of the airbox, removing some of the internal baffles and raising the lid of the air box.
 
The monster to my understanding is a well enginered piece of machinery - so why bother? Ahh well it's your bike go and screw it up if you feel the need.
