How do I get rid of a complete set of Encyclopedia Britannica?

15th edition, published in 1984, ten years of updates black leather books, gold tops, 30 volumes. As expected, barely used because computers became popular a few years after we bought them.

Put them in boxes and seal them up. Break them out when you are 60 years old, maybe they will be worth money as collectors items then.

Libraries and schools still have copies. If you donate the set , it can be used to replaced damaged or lost volumes. As a former teacher, I found, even with the internet, that the index volume was useful to students who had trouble cross-referencing or narrowing broad topics down to a workable piece of research.
