How do i get old polaroid pictures to size properly when scanned?

I have a bunch of old pictures that I have of my now deceased father and I and some other pictures that cannot be duplicated unless they were scanned. Chances are aI am going to go to Kinkos to do it. Now, In order to scan them will I have a problem scanning them when they are an odd size? Will there be an issue if i do reprints @ kinkos at a particular sizing? I was hoping to preserve the shot inside the polaroid border. I dont have that many pictures of my self as a child and this would be the only way to preserve memories before the Polaroids get worse.
