how do i get old pictures off of an old alltel phone, if it isn't activated anymore?

this phone has THE most amazing pictures on it, and i REALLY want them off, but i can't figure out how to get them off. it's from 2008, and it's still got the Alltel logo on it, and i need to know how to get them off.
i don't think i got this right:

for all you IDIOTS who can't get your mind out of the gutter, the pictures are of me, when i first dyed my hair pink.

like it's any of YOUR business. (:
