How do I get names to show up on my Sidekick?

When I first got my Sidekick LX (first model) whenever I sent or received texts or picture messages the contacts name would show, but for some reason now it just shows the numbers. I've messed around all the setting I could, but nothing about showing names. Anyone know how I can fix this?
