how do i get my wireless router to broadcast a strong signal over 800 ft?

My aunt's house is about 800 to 1200 feet away from my dad's house. A fairly wooded area separates the two. I would like to share my dad's internet with my aunt, but how would I go about broadcasting the signal so far??
You can see the house through the trees, not sure if that helps
We don't actually have a wireless router right now, what would be a good one to get?
