How do I get my videos from my panasonic lumix ZS3 to my macbook?

I have tried everything to get my video files from my camera to my 10.4 MacBook. Every program I try loads my photos, but does not load my video files. Does anyone know how to load my video files onto my computer so I can view them and/or post online for friends and family to see?
 
after you record your videos take your camera use the usb cord and plug it in. then on the the main screen an icon should pop up. if that doesn't work then take out the sd card and put it in the sd card slot.
