How do I get my torrent cell phone games onto my Samsung Gravity 2?

I have a USB cable and the phone, but I was wondering if I needed some kind of software to get the games onto the phone. I tried copying and pasting the files onto the phone, but they wouldn't run.
I can torrent legal third party applications, you moron. My question did not need to be reported.
Especially on your assumptions.
