Okay, so lately I've been having trouble with high notes I can usually hit. My voice just.. fails. Like its gone. And this happened once about a month ago, so I rested it and about two weeks later it came back. I started singing the high notes again and had no problems then a few days ago the same thing happened.
But now, I have a audition on Wenesday and to sing the song I want in the higher key, I need that voice to come back! I could always sing it in the lower key, but I'd really rather not...
So I have 2 questions!
1. How do I get it back quickly now that it's gone?
2. How do I keep it from going away in the first place? Is because I'm singing with poor technique?
I don't feel any pain or strain when I sing. And I read about nodules and I seriously doubt thats what it is, but... I don't know for sure. Could that be it? I had a few lessons when I was younger, but for the most part I havent had any formal training.
Oh! And I don't know if it helps, but sometimes I get lazy and when I'm messing around and singing around the house, I don't warm up... Could that cause it? I don't know...
Please and thank you so much! <3
