how do i get my kenwood car stereo off the protect mode?

i think the wires might have touched and made the word PROTECT come on my car radio can it ever work again please help THANK YOU
 
I think your best bet would be to contact the kenwood company and ask them. You would be best off calling if you can because you don't want to screw anything up. Im sure you will be able to use your stereo again there is definately a way to get it off protect mode.
