how do i get my bluetooth headset to work on my pc?

well, I have been trying for hours upon hours to find some software that enables me to use my computers bluetooth, to connect to my headphones, and make it play. and I'd really like it open-source. the bluetooth in my pc is: BROADCOM Bluetooth Device at Port_#0001.Hub_#0002.

I've tried to go to that bluesoleil website, and it doesn't work, i can't download anything from there.
