I had been falsely accused of assault and an injunction was served on me to forbid me from going to a place. I was initially arrested and released on police bail. A few weeks later I was contacted and told no further action was being taken by the police. Whilst I was under arrest and on bail I was entitled to Legal Aid and had a criminal lawyer.
Subsequently an injunction was served on me issued by the County Court under family law with a threat of up to 5 years imprisonment if the terms are broken. I am told I am not entitled to Legal Aid to fight this as there is no longer any criminal action against me; the injunction being a civil matter of which Legal Aid is not available.
I want to fight the injunction and claim losses incurred as a result of the injunction but I have very little money to pay for a lawyer.
I have lost over £60 000 as a result of this action against me. This made up of stolen belongings of mine and my families and loss of earnings.
