How do i get into this job; photography in a magazine?

okay so like i wanna be a photogrpaher for like a magazine and set up the shoots and backgrounds and shoot them.. what does that take, and wheres a good place to do it (location, magazine brand)
umm well im not even done with high school yet and M magazine uses a lot of slang and weird things like that... so yeah
 
*bangs head on desk a few times*
wanna.... first you go learn how to write. Yes I know it is photography not writing.. wrong. It is about how editors see you and they see you via your writing first then your images.

Then you can start to learn how to be the best photographer you can be.
Keep your day job till then.
