Hi, I'm 17, live in the UK and am going to go back to college to start studying a Media Studies course. It is a B-TEC one, which I can then progress onto (after completion) a higher course. After achieving a B, C and C in English, English Literature and Media Studies respectively at school, it re-ignited my interest about working in the media. I preferably want to write, as in, get a job working for a newspaper or magazine company. The problem I'm in is I'm not sure what to do after college. Would university be the right way to go? Should I get work experience? I also would like to know what qualifications I should get to work for a national newspaper such as The Sun (I'm just using that as an example, I don't actually mean that is the paper I want to work for). I'm really stuck and so I am open to as much help as possible. Thanks.
