how do i get images/pictures on my gaia online profile?

when i first made my gaia like a month ago i was trying to do my profile and it had the blue layout on and now i put a code to change it on it, but i was just wondering how some people put pictures of themselves, like paint splatters and avatars on their profiles?ive tryed to figure out how to do it like a million times and i cant figure out how to! thank you
 
gaia is a terrible site.

There are really bad people on that site.
Don't risk anything bad by putting pictures on there.
Bad idea.
I'm not trying to be mean,just honest.
Don't waste your time on that site.
