I was handed down a navy boys Poly/cotton blend sportcoat. I don't have time to have it professionally cleaned, as it is to be worn on Sunday. I won't throw it in the wash or handwash/submerge because I don't want to mess with the sizing or padding. I have tried to wash it gently with a clean sponge and ALL free but there are little spots left and white residue. Do I simply need to rinse out the soap some more? It needs to look clean and neat as it making an appearance in many family keepsake photos. Pls. help.
