without my moms info? (im 21 y.o.)? I know NYS doesn't have a formal emancipation law, but whenever I fill out my FAFSA my mom has a hard time sharing information with me. This year her taxes need to be amended and she wont do it until the government contacts her. Now I cant get fin aid for the fall until this is done. I want to know how I can get emancipated so I dont have to deal with this every year. Thanks!
