How do I get ahold of my school books if i havent recieved my financial check...

...yet and need them for classes?
I tried the college bookstore from online....Im going online study for business due to not being able to afford to get to and from the college itsself. and I dont have a credit card... I can barely afford rent and stuff for my 4month old daughter
 
Don't use a credit card to buy something you can't pay the balance on; that's a good way to get in debt. The library will often have books for most classes on reserve so students can use them in the library but usually not take them home. I got by a whole semester without buying books this way. The only downside is having to spend a lot of time at the library.
 
Try to find it online..or you could start without the book. I made it through my first 3 weeks of class with no book. I bought the book when I received my financial aid refund. You could also talk to your financial aid counselor. He/she might be able to work out some type of charge program with the book store that can be paid out of your financial aid. There may also be electronic sources available to you through your college. Many online schools do not require you to buy the hard copy of books.
