How do I get a wood bird sculpture repaired?

One of the bird's pewter legs has broken and needs to be replaced and painted. The original artist is no longer alive so I can not contact him. I would rather not fix this myself as this is a very nice piece of art. Is there anyone out there that can repair other artist's bird sculptures?
 
You can fix it your self easily just wood glue it back on sand down the left over glue after drying and repaint.
