I went to court yesterday just to get a copy of my final order for custody and noticed my ex had filed a petition for modification of orders-stating that my son is now living with him and and that he wants to have full custody w/ me having visitations! My son is NOT living w/ him & he rarely even shows up for his visitations! Also, on ther personal data form he wrote my wrong DOB, state of birth, address, phone #,my sons DOB was wrong-everything. Im thinking he was hoping I wouldnt be served so I would be held in contempt for failure to appear-and he would get what he asked for! Lucky for me, I know about it now.
I know he will not get anywhere-he has no job,no car, lives in a studio apt w/ no bedroom or bed for our son. My son also has ADHD,ODD & pica and has many behavioral & emotional problems that my ex refuses to except. I put him in couseling-he didnt appove of that, I changed his diet, I gave him plenty of extra curicular activites & rewards, put him on meds-kevin didnt approve of that, and he just qualified for an IEP through his school-and he doesnt approve of that either!! He has drug offences & driving offences gallore!! So, like I said-I dont think hell get very far. But I would like to be prepared as this is dealing w/ my son. Any advise?
