The phone was orignally for verizon, but has a slot for a sim card. I bought it unlocked. I can make phone calls and text. but the "VZ navigator" won't work, I have heard I can download "att service books" on to the phone and that will allow me to have a browser. I have Blackberry desktop manager v5.0.0.328. many of the steps to do this are very confusing. I did download "BBSAK" and have the "att_service_books.ipd file"
