How do I fix this (laptop/download/burn/image/iso help)?

Ok, so I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop. I just got it in August. Well in September I *thought* I downloaded Microsoft Office onto my computer, but I didn't. Kinda. I downloaded it and didn't burn it to a disk, because I didn't really know that I had to.
So then over the past 2 weeks I have been trying to burn it to a disk, then I discovered that the disk were not the right one. So I went and bought some RW (re-freakin-writable) ones. That didn't work either. It says that I freakin need 771MB, but the freakin disc only holds 700 (701, just to be nice.) WTF!
Well, I don't have any money to got a DVD, because according to the cute tech guys at my college (lol. jk) they said that I probably need a DVD or to just bring it in to them. I don't really mind bringin it in to them, I'm just very cautious and protective of my things and don't really want anyone to mess with them. I don't know what they could be doin to my laptop!
But one of them said something about possibly being able to burn it to a USB/flash/jump drive. I am so lucky I got the 4GB, but it does have like... a few things on there. But only like 2,000 and something KB and the iso image that I managed to copy to it but somehow can't freakin manage to burn to it. I need some concise, direct directions/instructions on what to do.
I have Windows whatever and Toshiba Disc Creator and Nero. I think I would go with Nero. I downloaded if after I looked on my school's website on how to burn this ****.
So if any of you know what to do, please help. It is going to be really difficult having a laptop and going to college without Microsoft Office. And sorry, but this Open Office just ain't cut'n it.
Do I need to delete everything off the flash drive, even the copy of Microsoft Office 32 bit?
Answer quickly please. No stupid answers. Thank you.
