Basically, at the beginning of the month, my two friends got in an argument. Their names are Hannah and Marie. Hannah has been one of my close friends since freshman year (I'm a junior), and Marie has been a close friend since last year. Hannah decided to make a team for a charitable function, and she was the captain. Marie, being Hannah's best friend, was co-captain. Marie's friend Shelby, a trouble maker, told Marie that co-captain wasn't a real position, so Marie started her own team.
Hannah felt like Marie disregarded her feelings, and Hannah was a co-captain for a team last year, and just wanted to share the experience with Marie. Marie feels like Hannah always treats her like a baby and doesn't think it was a big deal leaving the team. I think it was Shelby's meddling which ruined their friendship.
I tried to remain neutral, but both kept pulling me closer to them and wanted me to be on their team. Marie told me to stay on Hannah's team, since she didn't want to look mean, and apologized for trying to take people from Hannah. I stayed on Hannah's team. Marie and Hannah are no longer best friends.
Shelby was threatening Hannah through texts, until Hannah's best friend Amy told her off. Amy insulted Shelby, and Shelby simply de-friended Hannah on Facebook.
Today, Marie was liking all my pictures and asked me if I wanted to sleep over with Shelby and her, and I ignored it, but was friendly and asked her what was up, and stuff. Later that day, I found out Marie blocked me and Hannah, and Shelby de-friended me.
I don't know why Marie blocked me. I was nice to her, and have always stuck up for her. I think it was a mean thing to do to Hannah, but I never told her that. I talk to her everyday in English, and sit next to her at lunch some days. I'm just worried because it will be awkward on Monday at school.
