How do I fix the speakers in my 1993 Buick Lesabre?

In my 93 Buick Lesabre, only the left side speakers work. Sometimes when I first start the car, the right speakers will work very quietly, then they gradually distort and fade out. I've tried it with another radio and it was fixed temporarily, but it stopped working again when I screwed it in.
