How do I fix the shocks myself on my 2000 Lincoln Navigator? The back-end

stays down a lot. Shock motor needed? I have been told I need a shock motor replacement. My car still raises up. The motor works when it gets ready. Air line may need to be redone. I just don't know. Any help toward repairing would be greatly appreciated!
