how do i fix the points on my kawasaki dirt bike?

i have a kawasaki dirt bike but the points are off. were are they. and how do i fix them
my bike isnt starting because the points are off atleast thats what i was tols .its a 1987 kawasaki dirt bike the madle # is / kaw0810080
 
I am trying to follow your question, but having problems understanding your writing. What do you mean they are off? do you mean completely off the bike? or you suspect they are not firing or firing correctly? Which is it.

Next we need year make and model of the bike.

Next YOU need a service manual which will detail in pictures and text where the points are located and just how to service them, and how to test the condensor etc.

Things you need to get-a multimeter, a service manual, a points file, a set of ignition guages and a small screwdriver as well as various other tools need for your particular bike.
