How do i fix the air conditioner of a honda sedan?

Hi, i currently have a 1995 honda accord sedan.The air con seems to be turning on and off by itself when i turn on the engine, i suspect it has something to do with the electricity of the vehicle since the air con's switch light is on but the air is not blowing out. It frequently turns off in the middle of a trip and turns back on when i arrived at a location. Any suggestions?
 
usually when this happens you are either low on freon or have a leak if you are so inclined any parts store can sell you a refill kit for about 25.00
