how do i fix my verizon blitz?

one day in the winter i was out at my friends and my phone was fully charged and was in my pocket and when i went to look at the phone i touched a button to turn the screen on and it wouldnt turn on. i hooked it up to a charger later and it starts to charge and less than a few minutes later it says fully charged and almost instantly goes back to the charging screen and if i take it off the charger it'll turn off and not turn back on
