Okay, so my honda civic. i tried greasing the cord and the petal itself but its still sticking. I noticed that when i take my foot off the petal it will go down to 20 mph but when i hit the break it will go to idle status. But worse yet, when i reach 50-60 mph it will keep accelerating and the only way to get it to stop is to put my left foot on the break and press the accelerator in more till it pops back out. any suggestions? quick.. i have been with out a car for a week now.. and its getting harder to find rides home from work..
