I have had my mongoose 21 speed mountain bike for 6 years now and just recently the 6th gear spins freely and does not help rotate the rear wheel. I have taken the wheel off and manually tightened the gear set but it just keep coming loose. The 6th gear is the only one that has this problem, the 7th gear is tight and the others are not tight but they still catch and rotate the wheel.
how do i fix my gear from spinning freely on my bike?
