how do I find out what year model my suzuki is?

I just bought a suzuki quad runner 4x4 from a guy who was not the Original owner and he did not have the title, it is model:Lt-F250F
 
somewhere on the lower frame look for a stamped serial number it also my by on the neck where the steering column runs through the frame then call a suzuki dealer and run your number they will tell you what year it is who bought originally and where it was bought at
