I have to have a hysterectomy, and have no health insurance. My husband's income is "too much" for us to qualify for any kind of state insurance. We do receive a sliding scale at my doctor's office (they take 25% off my bill). Is there any kind of financial aid out there to help families that don't qualify for medicaid? I won't die without the surgery, but raising the money will take me at least a year, and I'm already in a great deal of pain. Any ideas would be extremely helpful! Thanks much!
