how do i find adobe flash on my mac?

i have paid for and bought a whole adobe suite which includes "flash" not sure if that means i can edit swf files or if it just means i can play them but i cant find it on my computer and when i type it into spotlight i click on "install flash" and it says "clicking this will uninstall flash" or "flash cannot be installed because a newer version is already installed on this computer" i just want the normal version so i can edit my swf files
