I want a financial planner who does not have an interest (alternative motive) to just sell products (i.e. mutual funds). I want someone who can help me out with my overall net worth. Someone who will look at everything (real estate, etc). Everyone I have gone to up to now just wants to sell mutual funds and they don't care about all of the other important areas that contribute to overall financial freedom. How do you find these people, because mutual fund sellers advertise as finanial advisors. Help!
