My daughter is 13 and her year level will be going on a camp in early Febuary. The camp goes from Monday to Friday and is at a lodge interstate and the students will be travelling there and back by plane. The cost for this camp is almost $700, and my husband and I simply cannot afford it. I would love for her to go because it would be a great experience but there is not enough money for it. She is very excited about camp and would probably be crushed when I tell her we can't afford it. How do I tell her that she can't go? And how can I make this up to her?
How do I explain to my daughter why she can't go on school camp?
