How do I explain that Lady Gaga is a joke to my 14 year old daughter?

I have never, and never will tell my children what they can or can't listen to. I've always encouraged them to enjoy music of any genre to its fullest. However, I recently tried to explain to my oldest (14 years old) daughter, that Lady Gaga is a joke singer, and her music is popular because of such. I explained so far, that Lady Gaga is of the same genre of music as "Weird Al" Yankovic and Type O Negative, commonly called Amphibious Music. She is just refusing to accept this and thinks Lady Gaga is more Pop. How do I get this point across to her?
 
Haha I like Weird Al, his songs are funny.
Lady Gaga is pop but she's not really about the music, more dancing and entertaining. Her lyrics are nonsense.
