...scratch my car again? here's the situation. we have an assigned parkng space in our apartment complex. some renters have 2 or 3 cars and are parked piggy-back (one in front of the other (or parallel parked) instead of side to side (because each apt. is assigned only 1 space) so that a part of their car -either back or front sticks out and very vulnerable to bump and scratching on both theirs and other people's car
here's the thing. the person who's parked on my right has 2 cars-one SUV and 1 older model w/c is long circa 70s. the long car's front or back usually sticks out and i have a hard time getting out of my space since the hallway is narrow and its either i hit his car ( by my right side) or hit the wall (w/c is on my left side).
what usually is the problem is they don't park their cars so that they do not cause any discomfort with other people. its like they just park their car and thats it.
i've scratched my car a couple of times already. first time i did it i was nice and called them up saying i'm sorry i hit the bumper of your car...before i finished, the wife screamed at me and told me i did not know how to drive. (when they're at fault bec. they let their friend who's not even a renter park his car on our apartment parking area) after that i never spoke to them again. what's the best thing to do or how do i maneuver my car so that i don't scratch the side of my car against the wall or their car? is there any alarm i can attach to my car (theres one but only if you're backing up but this is different- its the side of my car)
