how do i edit a song eiter using share 360 or windows media player?

i want the certain part of a song as my mobile ringtone but dont know how to edit it like cut the first part out
thanks if any one with brains on this subject can help x x
 
Don’t know with either but you can use windows movie maker.
Drag the song into Windows movie maker and then to the timeline at the bottom then you can cut the song down. then you will have to save it as a movie maker project, then open it up again in movie maker and save it as a movie file then check best audio quality and your done.
